Before Nnamdi Kanu's trial, the IPOB shut down markets, schools, and banks in Imo.

In solidarity with IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu's court hearing on Wednesday in Abuja, residents of Imo state entirely obeyed the Indigenous People of Biafra's (IPOB) sit-at-home command.

In Owerri, Vanguard found that the sit-at-home rule was followed to the letter in all of the communities they visited.

Also participating in the sit-at-home order were inhabitants of Orlu and Okigwe, whose streets were deserted.

Wethedral, Douglas, Owerri-Port-Harcourt, Owerri-Onitsha, and Owerri-Aba roads are just a few of the streets Vanguard has visited.

Mbari, Okigwe, and Mbaise streets, for example, were in the same state as Tetlow, Egbu, Dick tiger, MCC/Uratta, IMSU roundabout, Akwakuma, Amakohia, Spibat, and Orji streets.
