“Homosexuals are children of God” - Pope Francis endorses same-sex civil unions

Pope Francis has openly supported same-sex civil unions in a documentary that debuted in Rome on Wednesday, October 22, 2020, sending the Catholic Church into a fit of questions.

Speaking on pastoral outreach and care for people who identify as LGBTQ, the head of the Roman Catholic church said that he thinks same-sex couples should be allowed to have “civil unions”.

His comments in the Evgeny Afineevsky-directed documentary, has been described by observers as his clearest remarks yet on gay relationships.
