'Cristiano Ronaldo Has a Desire to Return to Real Madrid,' Claims a Friend Close to the Striker

​A journalist and friend close to ​Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo has made a huge claim, revealing that the Portugese striker wants to return back to former club, ​Real Madrid in the future.

Ronaldo who moved to the Bernabeu from ​Manchester United for a then world-record transfer fee of £80million, spent nine trophy-laden years with the Los Blancos with the striker not only leading them to innumerable trophies but also leaving the club as their all-time highest goalscorer with 450 goals from just 438 games.

five-time Ballon d'Or winner surprised a number of fans and pundits when he decided to move to Juventus in 2018, and now Edu Aguirre claims that the 35-year-old wants to return back one day.



“I know for sure that Cristiano has a desire to return to Real Madrid. He felt the affection of Madrid when he came to Bernabeu, he was excited. Now he is totally focused on Juventus, but in football, never say never. I don’t know what will happen in the future, nobody can know," he said to ​Football Italia.



While that looks like a long shot given that he is 35-years-old, one can never say never when it comes to Ronaldo considering that he has confirmed that he has no plans to retire anytime soon.
